Me - I’m a tax consultant living in Houston, TX and trying to reconcile an artist’s soul with the need to pay bills and eat. I’m a happy enough person, a self-proclaimed Jeffersonian and would rather read a book than anything else.
Awesome Boyfriend – My best friend and strongest supporter. We met at work almost two years ago and both being shy types and rather clueless, it took almost another year for us to figure things out and get together. Awesome Boyfriend loves a few things with great passion – UT sports, his basil plants and the NY Mets. I’m ok with being Number 4 in the chain of his affection. 
Currently, boyfriend has been relocated to Dallas for work for the next few months.
Da Momma – My mom and closest confidant. All of my friends call her Momma. We have so many of the same interests; I get my love of reading from her. In fact, the older I get, the more I sound like her in voice and phrasing. I catch a hint of my voice on a voicemail and I realize I sound just like her. I’m more than OK with this – my mom’s one of the coolest persons I know!
Miranda – my bestest girlfriend and sometime partner in crime. She throws a hell of a stitch and bitch and listens to all of my idiotic ideas. An avid bicycler and farmer’s market foodie, she is the Green Queen – if you ever need to know the way to do something around the house and do it green, then she’s the one to talk to!
Dr. Scientist – a.k.a. “Woofies” – my brother’s dog. She’s a sheltie and is adorable. A lot of my musings go to how I can steal her for myself. She’s adorable!
Circe, Tybalt and Buddy – my three wondercats. Circe’s meaner than a snake to everyone but me. Tybalt loves everyone (we call him the SnuggleWhore). Buddy’s the Action Cat. He and Awesome Boyfriend are buds. I swear Buddy got a better goodbye than I did when Boyfriend went to Dallas!
